Celebrating Christmas

From the middle of November, it is already Christmas in the stores. The big "commercial rush" begins with a clamour that invades us everywhere.

Happily, Christmas is much more than that! Of course we like to celebrate! Sure we like giving presents in the joy of sharing!

The preparation of gatherings and celebrations will become the joy of meeting together, as a family, with comrades and friends, sharing our festive meal in a spirit of unity, love and friendship.

Yes, we will celebrate! But... what are we going to celebrate?

It would be regretful that all the shopping and the anxiety of the preparations would prevent us from living, in all its depth, the true meaning of this great feast that is Christmas.

In this time of preparation, let's not forget to come back to the origin of this birthday which concerns directly all humankind, since the beginning of its existence until the end of times.

Let's not forget that, 2000 years ago, we ALL received an unimaginable gift when God became man, for love of us, to give us...
