We need the beauty of the world around us to live and develop ourselves fully. We need it indeed very much; it speaks to our heart. A walk through the forest, contemplating the beauty of nature, helps us regain our inner balance and "recharge the batteries". The element of pure beauty places us in a state of peace and joy. We are able to admire the flowers, the quietness of a lake, or the innocent look of a child. Sometime ago, this beauty in itself was sufficient for me. Now I see it like a reflection, something that draws me toward its source, which is no other than LOVE. We know that nothing can come to existence by itself. We know that hazard cannot be in itself a source of beauty, because beauty is the product of an act of love, like a painting is a reflection of the painter, or a poem the reflection of its author. Through the work, we can try to grasp the essence of its creator, and if it touches us deeply, we may come to love him and... understand. Only love is creative in life. Only love can move us deeply, transform our life and change us. Only love can be the source of beauty, and God Himself is the fullness of Beauty. This source of love is our beginning and our end, and our existence consists in grasping this truth. By thanking God for everything He gives us, for the beauty of creation, for giving us life, we will let our hearts be enkindled to answer freely to His Love by our own love. Then, by this constant exchange of giving and receiving, our life will find the true meaning of its existence; it will be sanctified and rendered eternal by this love... WHICH SPRINGS
